DISCOVER THE ADVANTAGES OF JOINING OUR UNIVERSITY. WE OFFER A RANGE OF ATTRACTIVE BENEFITS AND OPPORTUNITIES TO ENHANCE YOUR WORK EXPERIENCE:
Working under the guidance of the research leaders ultimately responsible for the project, carrying out research, including the design, execution, data collection and analysis of experiments.
The postholder will engineer the genome of Xenopus embryos, grow them and compare their phenotypes with those of controls. They will be expected to work with others to develop the current phenotyping approaches with a particular focus on quantitative behavioural assays. The role will also require the postholder to work alongside a postdoc focused on developing current gene editing approaches and support collaborations between researchers both internal and external to the university.
This is a fixed term contract to March 2028.
For an informal discussion about the role please contact Matt Guille via email: matt.guille@port.ac.uk
Interviews are anticipated to be held 7 March 2025.
