Roles and Responsibilities: The software engineer will work with subject matter experts to analyze IT systems, interface with process engineers to determine key data to collect, evaluate available interface of connecting equipment, design and develop software (primarily Java and Groovy) to retrieve and process data streaming from the factory floor and interface with other pillar systems in our factory. The software engineer will work within an agile team, and use their ability to communicate, design, document, and review with other developers, architects, and business representatives on the team is of paramount importance. This is a rapidly growing team and an excellent opportunity for growth moving forward. Candidates with strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills as well as those with a high level of ownership of tasks and problems, with the ability to bring issues to closure independently will succeed in this role.
