Position Title: Data Engineer
Salary: $126,360 -$126,500 / Year
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, 40 Hours/ Week. Requires flexibility to work
beyond 8:00am to 5:00pm due to work with international team.
Summary of Duties: Build meaningful business data marts by transforming data from technical data lake layers into business friendly KPIs and data marts. Collaborate with various stakeholders by translating business requirements into data pipeline designs and implementing designs. Build and manage best in class data marts by understanding, transforming, and managing complex data structures. Manage, monitor, and optimize data pipelines and build highly efficient and automated data lineage for analytics use cases. Manage and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, such as IT vendors and local sales organizations. Implement and innovate tools and techniques in data management, data catalogue, and data quality management. Design, build, and integrate data pipelines for machine learning and advanced analytics use cases. Collaborate with stakeholders in Marketing and Sales and across other domains, such as Supply Chain, Customer Service, and Pricing Excellence. Requires flexibility to work beyond 8:00am to 5:00pm due to work with international team. Hybrid work permitted, must report to Company’s office in Tarrytown, NY 3 days/wk.
Qualifications: The position requires a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Computer Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or as a Data Scientist, Software Engineer, or a related occupation. Alternately, employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Computer Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered, or as a Data Scientist, Software Engineer, or a related occupation. The position requires experience with the following skills: Experience with database technologies, such as Neo4J, Snowflake, or other large databases; Machine Learning; Advanced analytics, such as Python or Apache Spark; Low code data management platforms, such as KNIME, SAS, or Alteryx; Data Analytics tools, such as PowerBI or Qlik, or another Data Analytic tool; Working experience in Agile environments; Project Management experience; and working experience in global teams. Requires flexibility to work beyond 8:00am to 5:00pm due to work with international team. Hybrid work permitted, must report to Company’s office in Tarrytown, NY 3 days/wk.
