About the team
This is an excellent opportunity to join one of our Consumer Teams at mobile.de which owns the whole Advertising and Consent setup and brings that in line with our high focus on a top consumer experience. This agile and cross-functional team is equipped with software developers, UX specialists, product owners and business professionals so that it can holistically own and grow their user journey and develop products and services that serve our users’ needs as well as our customers’ expectations excellently. We are looking for a skilled iOS developer to join us as an enabler; someone who is a good collaborator, still wanting to learn and improve, with a strong user focus and a desire to work with passionate and engaged people in one of the world’s leading automotive platforms. What you’ll do:

• Build a phenomenal product for our users in a pragmatic, agile, iterative, test-and-learn driven and scalable way
• Contribute to a modularized codebase, using the latest technology stack, including Swift, SwiftUI, SPM and iOS 16+
• Holistically own the entire release cycle from specification to running in production
• Write meaningful unit- and snapshot tests plus be familiar with accessibility audit testing
• Be an active and engaged partner for product management, UX, business and your native app peers
• Ensure the quality of your product because you understand that quality is the responsibility of the entire team
• Dedicate up to 30% of working time to maintain the code quality and contribute to initiatives related to platform improvements and best practices
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends. Learn new tech and non-tech related skills to grow yourself and your team
• Participate in design decisions and code reviews

Your profile:

• Passion for iOS development, writing pragmatic code and having an eye for simplicity
• 3+ years of experience in iOS development
• Proficiency in how to use Xcode and Instruments for development and performance debugging
• Good programming skills in Swift and a basic understanding of Objective-C on the iOS APIs
• Solid knowledge of SwiftUI and a basic understanding of UIKit
• Experience in writing testable code and using testing frameworks
• Basic knowledge in AB Testing/Experimentation
• Experience with client/server architectures using HTTP, REST and JSON
• High energy and a desire to work in a results-oriented data driven environment
• Experience in other languages and platforms are a plus
