Location: Hybrid- 3 days a week from JETs Bristol office & 2 days working from home Reporting to: Technology Manager These are some of the key components to the position: Play a key role in planning, designing and developing scalable solutions using .NET technologies. Collaborate with cross-functional engineers and teams, as well as with key stakeholders, to deliver high-quality user experiences. Participate in our on-call rota, helping to maintain the reliability and operational excellence of the systems we build. Work independently on well-defined problem areas, taking responsibility for delivering robust solutions within a workstream. What will you bring to the team? Proficiency in C# with a strong understanding of the .NET ecosystem. A strong understanding of cloud service providers, preferably AWS, however experience with Azure or GCP is fine. Demonstrable experience of unit testing tools/frameworks (for example xUnit, NUnit, MSTest etc). Experience in building RESTful APIs. Familiarity with NoSQL databases. Ability to debug and troubleshoot complex systems. Experience writing highly scalable services in a microservices-based architecture. Experience with message queues or distributed systems is a bonus.
