As a Copilot Solution Engineer for the Public Sector Presales Team, you will play a critical role in accelerating AI transformation by leading technical engagements that drive customer adoption of Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio & Agents, and related AI-powered productivity solutions. This role is deeply technical and is responsible for owning the technical win strategy, delivering compelling demonstrations, and guiding customers through envisioning sessions that align with their business goals and technical requirements. As a trusted advisor, the Copilot Solution Engineer ensures that governance, security, and compliance are embedded in every conversation to build confidence and drive decision-making.
In addition to technical leadership, the Copilot Solution Engineer is accountable for driving core business momentum through competitive differentiation, technical blocker resolution, and seamless handoffs to deployment teams. You will work within a virtual team of technical, partner and consulting resources to help educate your customers at a technical level, demonstrate, and prove our solutions, and win the technical decision allowing the team to achieve/exceed quarterly targets in your accounts. The role emphasizes operational excellence, partner collaboration, and continuous learning to ensure scalable impact and sustained customer success. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in enterprise solution engineering or technical sales roles.
• Track record of owning technical win strategies and leading complex customer engagements with ITDMs and TDMs.
• Recognized as a trusted advisor and thought leader; actively contributes to community learning and cross-team coaching of junior engineers.
• Technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience
• OR Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience
• OR Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience
• OR equivalent experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Stong Background in Microsoft 365 technology stack, with proven experience in implementation and/or presales as well as architectural design.
• Track record of hands-on experience to co-create customer outcomes.
• Experience with cloud and hybrid, or on premises infrastructures, architecture designs, migrations, industry standards, and/or technology management
• Certification in relevant technologies or disciplines (e.g., Office 365, Power BI, Azure Architect and Development exams, Cloud Platform Technologies, Information Security, Architecture)
