As a Data Engineer (m/f/d), you will develop reliable data pipelines and create the technical foundation for data-driven analytics and AI solutions. You will integrate and structure data, further develop data models, and ensure their quality and availability. You will work closely with our Data & Analytics Consultants and AI Engineers.

Tasks

Data pipelines & data integration

• Development and operation of ETL/ELT pipelines for the integration of data from different sources
• Merging and processing data to create a reliable data foundation
• Ensuring reliable data provision
• Further development of existing data pipelines

Data modeling & data structures

• Development of data models and the underlying data structures
• Development and expansion of a reliable database
• Close collaboration with Data & Analytics Consultants in the development of data models
• Structuring data as a basis for further analyses and applications

Data quality & scalability

• Ensuring a clean, consistent and available data foundation
• Consideration of maintainability and scalability in the development and operation of data solutions
• Ensuring reliable data quality and availability
• Continuous development of existing data structures and data solutions

Cross-functional collaboration

• Close collaboration with Data & Analytics Consultants and AI Engineers
• Coordination and implementation of common requirements for data and data structures
• Providing the necessary data basis for analyses and AI solutions
• Collaboration with the specialist department and customers in the development and implementation of data-based solutions

profile

• A completed degree (e.g., computer science, data science, engineering) or a comparable qualification
• Experience in the design and operation of data pipelines (ETL/ELT) and in data integration
• A solid understanding of data architecture and data modeling
• A secure handling of SQL and databases or data warehouses
• A keen sense for data quality: You ensure a clean, reliable data foundation.
• Experience with cloud data platforms, scripting languages ​​(e.g., Python) or orchestration/transformation (e.g., Airflow, dbt) is a big plus.
• Excellent English skills; good German skills are an advantage.
