As a Data Engineer, you’ll work in cross-functional team to create data solutions using internal and external data sources. You find challenges exciting and enjoy discovering and defining problems as much as solving them. You are a cross-disciplinary team member and excited to work with and learn from other Data Engineers and Business Intelligence experts. You are comfortable communicating across teams. You are resourceful, flexible and adaptable. Finally, you’ll help bring selected products to production and scale.

EDUCATION & PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

• University or Bachelor’s degree required
• Computer Science or Engineering preferred
• Min. 3 yrs experience in data modelling and/or Data Analytics Engineering handling large quantities of complex data
• Experience with data engineering - ETL/ELT Pipelines, Data Lakes, Database Management, etc
• Proficiency with Python/SQL is expected
• 2 year experience with Databricks, Snowflake or dbt is required
• Experience building Infrastructure for data analytics solutions is required
• Experience with with PowerBI, Tableau or Qlik
• Experience with workflow orchestration tools (e.g. Apache Airflow, AWS Step Functions) is a plus
• Experience in applying data quality frameworks and monitoring is a plus
• Ability to work in agile software processes
• Previous hands-on experience in analytics projects with an enthusiastic, can-do attitude
• Demonstrate a strong interest in both business and technology
• English profficiency is expected (at least C1)

• Design and build scalable data pipelines for collecting, storing, and processing large volumes of data from a variety of sources in our commercial cloud data warehouse based on Snowflake and dbt
• Work with Business Intelligence developers and business stakeholders to understand their data needs and develop solutions to meet those needs
• Create data products for analytics and business stakeholders to improve their productivity. Support the business customers with their commercial requirements by translating it into technical business intelligence solutions
• Assume responsibility for coordinating, implementing and testing new business requirements and specific functionalities and manage user acceptance testsConsult & empower wider organization to implement & reinforce a culture of sharing, re-use, design for scale stability, and operational efficiency of data and analytical solutions
• Monitor and optimize the performance of data pipelines and systems to ensure they are running efficiently
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in data engineering and analytics, and continually seek out new ways to improve processes and technologies
• Work with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve data-related issues and challenges
