This is an exciting job opportunity for Software Quality Engineer to join our Philips Hue Engineering Team in Menlo Park, California, with Signify.

Work on one of the world’s leading consumer smart home ecosystems and be part of a multi-disciplinary software engineering team in the Bay Area consisting of quality, mobile, embedded and cloud engineers. Our mission is to build the best smart home security system which differentiates itself through integration with lighting and a privacy without compromise approach using end-to-end encryption and Edge AI. We’ll be rapidly expanding the Hue ecosystem through new devices and use-cases.

• Analyze business requirements and assess quality risks to define the appropriate test strategy and develop comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing and release activities in an agile development environment.
• Implement tests and automated test cases; analyze test results to assure quality of existing and new functionalities.
• Define the test automation strategy and develop CI/CD test automation frameworks to support new product launches.
• Document, investigate and communicate defects discovered during test implementation.
• Assess quality status of our products through data analytics, issue reports in beta and continuously improve by refining our QA processes and test coverage.
