Could you be the full-time Software Development Engineer (f/m/d) in Mannheim we’re looking for?

YOUR FUTURE ROLE

In Mannheim, over 1000 colleagues from 36 different countries work together to develop locomotives, as well as signal and propulsion technology for vehicles that are deployed both regionally and worldwide. Our corporate functions play a key role in supporting and continuously improving the performance of our sites. You’ll report to the Software & Control TCIS Team Lead and work alongside a dedicated and enthusiastic team.
You’ll specifically take care of development of TRAXX locomotive train control and information systems, but also managing your train control project team members.

• Relevant degree or passion in control engineering;
• Work package & team management expertise;
• Experience as rolling stock functional engineer and understanding several train functions is a nice to have;
• Hands-on electrical and schematic design activities;
• Familiarity with design and development of control systems;
• Knowledge of different network topologies and interfaces used in rail industry is a nice to have
