Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Developer to design, develop, and implement enterprise-grade solutions within Salesforce and the Vlocity platform. The consultant will ensure alignment with accessibility standards, security/privacy requirements, and business needs while supporting the full SDLC in a hybrid work arrangement.
This role requires deep Vlocity expertise (FlexCards, DataRaptors, OmniScripts, LWC, etc.), proven Salesforce Experience/Community Cloud development, and hands-on integration and CI/CD implementation experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) standards.
• Design, develop, and maintain system design models, program code, documentation, and specifications.
• Deliver application solutions in alignment with business requirements and architecture frameworks.
• Develop responsive web and mobile applications across modern browsers and devices.
• Conduct research and assess technical design options.
• Contribute to project planning, including work breakdown and resource estimation.
• Support data validation testing, unit testing, UAT, and defect management.
• Ensure compliance with Agile methodology, security, and privacy standards.
• Provide knowledge transfer and technical documentation as required.
• Assist in training and communications for large-scale system implementations.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Expertise

• Experience in solutions development.
• Strong knowledge of security, recovery procedures, and privacy requirements, preferably in a health or public sector context.
• Expertise with relational and hierarchical databases and query languages.
• Proven experience in application integration testing and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with communications protocols.

Development Skills

• Proven expertise with Vlocity platform capabilities, including:
• FlexCards, DataRaptors, Integration Procedures, Calculation Matrices & Procedures, OmniScripts, Vlocity Data Model.
• Salesforce Lightning Web Components (LWC).
• Experience with Salesforce Experience/Community Cloud.
• Strong background in Salesforce integrations with internal applications.
• Knowledge of security settings, governor limits, and platform limitations.
• Experience in data migration, reports, and dashboards.
• Hands-on experience with source control tools (GitLab) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Comfort working in Agile environments (epics, user stories, features, story points).
• Knowledge of MuleSoft is an asset.

• Experience in monitoring project progress, resolving issues, and reporting to leadership.

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: From $80.00 per hour
