What You'll Do Take a leading role in designing and developing our flagship product. Build scalable, high-performance backend services and applications. Solve complex challenges involving scale, performance, and business logic. Work in an agile development environment. Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Data Analysts, Data Scientists, and Engineers to deliver impactful solutions. Review code, architecture, and data to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization. Contribute to the development of the Unified Platform and its microservices-based architecture on AWS. Develop robust, scalable solutions using Java and cloud-native technologies. Take ownership of features and projects from design to production. Within Your First 12 Months You Will Work closely with multiple stakeholders to design, implement, and deliver the merchant-classification core of the Unified Platform. Become a key contributor to the team's architecture and technical direction. Deliver high-quality features and help drive the evolution of our platform and engineering practices. Requirements B.Sc./M.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent. 7+ years of backend development experience with Java (Spring Boot or similar frameworks). Experience designing and building microservices-based architectures. Experience with Spring Boot, JDBC/JPA, and Linux. Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS. Experience with Docker and Kubernetes. Strong knowledge of relational databases (MySQL preferred) and SQL. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to independently own features and projects.
