About the role
At Balfour Beatty, we make ambitious visions a reality. As a leading infrastructure group, we work on some of the UK’s most complex and exciting engineering projects – and we’re looking for a Site Engineer to join our Regional Civils team on the Apollo Project in Bristol.
As a Site Engineer, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of the Apollo Project a significant infrastructure and construction development in the Bristol area. You will be responsible for ensuring technical excellence on-site, working closely with the project management team, subcontractors, and designers.
What you’ll be doing
As a Site Engineer you will:

Set out, surveying, and quality control on site
-
Assist with planning and coordination of construction activities
-
Ensure works are carried out in line with specifications and drawings
-
Support health, safety, environmental, and sustainability compliance
-
Maintain accurate records and reporting progress
-
Work collaboratively to resolve technical challenge.
Who we’re looking for
You will have the following:
-
A degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering or related discipline
-
Proven experience working on complex construction or infrastructure projects
-
Strong knowledge of setting out and surveying techniques using GPS
-
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
-
A commitment to health and safety best practices.
