JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar + Service staff to join our vibrant team at our cosy little pub in Eype. As a key member of our hospitality environment, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere
The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional guest services.
As a Server, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience.
As a member of our bar team, you’d be responsible for greeting guests as they arrive at the venue, directing guests to tables, taking and serving drinks orders creating memorable interaction for locals and our visiting customer base.

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
• Strong hospitality skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
• Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods effectively.
• Ability to work well in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
• general cleaniliness throughout the pub area, including both dining areas, bar and garden.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills are essential. Join us in delivering outstanding service that keeps our guests coming back for more!

We have service roles available for 16+ and bar work for 18+, please not that if you are over 18 there will be an overlap between service and bar work

• 15 - 25 hours a week

Pay: £7.55-£12.21 per hour

DUTIES

• Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently.
• Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets our standards.
• Provide information about menu items
• Upsell additional items to maximise sales opportunities.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining and bar areas and ensure that tables are set properly.
• Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality of food.
• Manage time effectively to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner.
