We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced SAP MM Process & Transformation Specialist to strengthen our Value Chain team during the transition to SAP S/4HANA. As we redesign and digitalize our core procurement and materials management processes, this role ensures that operational performance is efficiently managed. This position plays a critical role in bridging two worlds: on the one hand, you’ll ensure that our Source-to-Pay (S2P) processes remain stable and effective throughout the transformation; on the other hand, you’ll take responsibility for dedicated tasks within the SAP S/4HANA implementation, such as testing, data validation, documentation, and user enablement.
This role focuses on end-to-end operational ownership, acting as a subject matter expert for SAP MM and Ariba, and bringing hands-on expertise into the implementation program. You’ll collaborate closely with key users, functional leads, and IT teams to ensure that what’s being built works in the real world – today and tomorrow.
You will be based at our global headquarters in Baden, Switzerland and report to the Head of Value Chain Planning & Fulfillment.

Your responsibilities:

• Secure operational continuity in all MM-related processes (e.g. ordering, replenishment, inventory, material master, supplier master) during the transition from SAP ECC to S/4HANA
• Act as key Power User in the S/4HANA program: bring real-world input to design, testing, and data validation
• Take the lead on sub-projects within the SAP rollout – such as harmonizing S2P workflows, improving data governance, or integrating SAP Ariba modules (SLP/SCC)
• Enable others: create documentation, user guides and SharePoint content, and train users across functions and divisions
• Collaborate closely with IT, Procurement, Planning, and Finance to ensure that system and process changes are well aligned
• Challenge and improve identify process gaps, drive pragmatic improvements, and ensure solutions are practical and scalable
• Be a trusted operational expert and transformation partner – focused on stability today and readiness for tomorrow

Your background:

• University degree in Business Analytics, Supply Chain, IT, or a related field
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in SAP MM in global or industrial environments
• Deep expertise in S2P processes, order management, and master data governance
• Experience with SAP R/3, SAP S/4HANA, and SAP Ariba (SLP/SCC)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong troubleshooting skills and operational problem-solving mindset
• Proven ability to work across cross-functional teams and stakeholder groups
• Comfortable handling parallel tasks in dynamic, evolving environments
• Fluent in English and German, both written and verbal
• Experience in SAP S/4HANA migration projects or digital supply chain initiatives (a plus)
