Description

MECHANICAL DESIGNER

Givens Engineering Inc, located on Veterans Parkway in London, creates manipulators, cranes, automated equipment, and special-purpose machinery. We’re in need of an experienced mechanical designer to work in Solidworks, with a strong mechanical aptitude. Experience in machinery design is very desirable for this role. CAD skills are an absolute must.
The work is full-time and permanent. We offer a full benefits package and RRSP plan. We value a long-term relationship that will continue for years, starting with extensive training and gradually working toward increasingly challenging projects. We have a strong preference for engineers and technologists living in London and the surrounding region.
We manufacture everything we sell right here in our large London shop, employing engineers, technologists, welders, electricians, machinists, assemblers and millwrights. We’re Canada’s largest manufacturer of manipulators and light cranes. We operate on both sides of the border, with a rapidly-growing sister corporation in Toledo. Check us out at www.giveng.com

  • University Degree in Mechanical Engineering
