REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline with proven experience coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
• OR equivalent experience.
• Experience with the Azure technology stack, including Azure Functions, Azure DevOps, and other cloud-native services.

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

• Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 1+ year(s) technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
• OR Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field with proven experience coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
• OR equivalent experience.
• Reliable C# and .NET skills for building enterprise-grade applications and understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and deployment.
• Proficiency in RESTful API development and integration, microservices architecture, and working with databases (SQL and NoSQL).
• Reliable UI/UX development skills with experience in building responsive, intuitive, and user-friendly interfaces.
• Experience with Azure AI, Cognitive Services and other cloud-native services.
• Knowledge of security best practices in cloud applications, including authentication, authorization, and data protection.
  Software Engineering IC2 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $81,900 - $160,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $105,600 - $174,600 per year.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Designs and develops AI-driven applications to enhance employee experience and optimize building operations.
• Creates user-friendly UI/UX experiences using ReactJS or other web technologies to redefine how employees interact with workplace technology.
• Builds and maintains scalable backend services using Node.js, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience to support enterprise applications.
• Leverages the Azure tech stack, including Azure AI, Cognitive Services, and cloud-native solutions, to develop innovative and efficient applications.
• Implements AI/ML models, automation, and intelligent insights to drive efficiency and enhance decision-making.
• Develops and enhances solutions using Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) as one of the platforms to improve business processes, employee engagement, and operational workflows.
• Works closely with cross-functional teams to architect and deploy AI-powered, cloud-based solutions that transform the modern workplace.
