EDUCATION

• Bachelor’s degree in technology, Finance, Business Administration, Legal or related discipline is required
• MBA or related graduate degree
• Contract Management Certification (IACCM/WorldCC or similar)

EXPERIENCE

• 10+ years’ experience managing complex contracts and relationships and Supplier Risk Governance
• Experience leading large/technically complex sourcing events and contract negotiations for Information Technology and/or Digital initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to handle a large volume of contracts and sourcing events under tight deadlines.
• Experience leading and documenting contracting and sourcing events through an auditable process.
• Experience in negotiating technology agreements for Hardware, Software, ASP/SaaS, Cloud, Hosting and Professional Services
• Ability to assess commercial terms to ensure RZ Strategies’ clients achieves the optimal value and risk protections on transactions.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

• Working knowledge of current IT technologies across a wide variety of areas
• Proven ability to understand vendor motivation factors and sales lifecycle.
• Demonstrated capability to bridge communications between the providers, client and its business stakeholders.
• Demonstrated competency in strategic thinking and leadership with strong abilities in relationship management.

• As part of advisory function, this role will assess: supplier contract performance/governance cadence, the delivery of outsourced services, contract and business outcome success and contract continuous improvement efforts.
• Candidate will provide management consulting services developing strategies and implementing best practices for RZ Strategies Group clients for managing relationships with service providers performing services, primarily during the steady state period.
• Responsible for assessing and advising clients during steady state on contract commitments and obligations and providing advisory services to RZ Strategies Group clients on planning and executing plans to optimize supplier relationships and performance during steady state.
• Responsible for assessing the compliance of the risk management framework with client contract managers.
• Responsible for supporting maintenance of the risk management framework enhancing existing processes with best practices and developing new processes as identified to further drive risk from supplier contracts.
