As a Systems Engineer on this team, you will contribute to the development, integration, and verification of RF-based ground systems supporting a variety of space missions. You will participate in system definition, requirements development, architecture decomposition, and verification activities throughout the system lifecycle, from early concept development through integration and test. In this role, you will work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to translate mission and customer needs into system requirements and technical solutions. You will help define system architecture and interfaces across hardware, software, and infrastructure components, with particular focus on RF systems including antennas, RF front-end equipment, and ground communications infrastructure. This requisition may be filled at a higher job grade based on the qualifications listed below. This requisition may be filled as either a level 3 or level 4. Basic Qualifications for a Level 3: 5 years of relevant experience with Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM discipline; 3 years with Masters; 0 years with a PhD Working knowledge of systems engineering principles and processes Demonstrated experience quickly learning new concepts and approaches Experience in the design, development, and integration of ground system software, networking, and/or RF antenna programs. Familiarity with RF communications systems, ground systems, or antenna-based architectures. Experience with technical writing and team building skills Primary Level Salary Range: $11,400.00 - $171,000.00 Secondary Level Salary Range: $142,200.00 - $213,400.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
