Join a world-class academic healthcare system, UChicago Medicine, as the Clinical Director – Specialty Area - Adult Inpatient Cardiovascular Services and Neuroscience/Multispecialty Intensive Care Units. Here you will have the opportunity to use your clinical acumen to impact the delivery of high quality and safe patient care.  Reporting directly to the Executive Director of Adult Inpatient Operations & Emergency Services, Associate Chief Nursing Officer, the Clinical Director will lead high performance teams under his/her direction to accomplish the mission, vision, and philosophy of the organization. We are seeking a driven leader who can think in enterprise-wide terms and have knowledge of complex adaptive systems to impart effective fiscal decisions, the delivery of quality and safe care, use effective human resource management, and lead change management initiatives. The Director will develop a network of relationships with physician leaders and leaders of all departments to foster an environment of collaboration.  Through the practice of transformational and servant leadership, the Director will cultivate satisfaction for patients and staff.   The Director maintains standards of the practice of nursing as defined by the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics, Nursing Scope and Standards of Practice. This position ensures quality, compassionate, culturally competent, effective and efficient patient care.         Who you are:  * BSN required.
