ABOUT NEMA HEALTH Nema Health is a survivor and clinician led virtual clinic for PTSD & trauma care. Our mission is to guide trauma survivors at every step of their journey towards healing, starting first with the remote, massed delivery of cognitive processing therapy (CPT). This position is fully remote, and we welcome applications from qualified candidates located anywhere in the USA. JOB DESCRIPTION: STAFF TRAUMA THERAPIST  We are seeking a passionate and mission-driven clinician who is fully licensed in the state of California to join our elite group of trauma therapists that provide best-in-class care to survivors. This role reports directly to our Therapy Lead. We offer clinicians an unparalleled opportunity to be the best in their fields. Our clinicians receive extensive training, weekly CPT technique supervision by Dr. Kate Chard, co-inventor of CPT, and mentorship from other renowned clinicians. Clinicians are afforded opportunities to participate in research, program development and leadership. Nema therapists strive to provide the best quality of care possible, because trauma survivors only deserve the most compassionate, effective treatment possible. As an expanding clinic, promotions and growth opportunities abound. ROLE DESCRIPTION: Clinical Care: * Conduct thorough and accurate patient diagnostic evaluations * Effectively triage patients to admission or provide appropriate referrals based on their clinical needs and the resources available * Treat PTSD and related conditions using evidence-based psychotherapies * Patients are seen multiple times for the duration of their treatment (approximately 6 weeks) in our intensive treatment model; therapists are expected to spend 29 hours per week in direct patient care. * Be comfortable with managing clinical risk, and making care escalations as needed  * Lead skills groups as needed for graduates of CPT (i.e. DBT skills group) * Assist in care coordination efforts & logistics with the administrative team (e.g. referring patients out or coordinating directly with other  care team providers as needed) * Ensure that accurate and precise documentation records are maintained Operational Support: * Provide input on recruiting, onboarding and overall experience of the clinical team * Work collaboratively with the Clinical Operations team and Nema leadership to ensure clear communication and clinical processes QUALIFICATIONS Required   * Active licensure in the state of California. Therapists can expect to be cross-licensed in up to ten states. This is a fully remote, full-time, exempt, salaried position reporting directly to the Clinical Supervisor. Compensation will be determined by the candidate's experience.
