Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances: Act 33 with renewal Act 34 with renewal Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Temporary Practice Permit (TPP) Current licensure in the facility’s state or a multistate license under the Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC). Employees working on an out-of-state NLC license who move to the facility’s state must obtain state licensure within 60 days of changing residency.
