Enhance clinical expertise, professional and management skills through interaction with managers, therapists and other professional staff, self-study, and other continuing education activities. Maintain a valid state license. Maintain awareness of issues related to the profession of physical therapy and the health care environment. Candidates must have an associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program and current state licensure or eligibility for licensure. Previous experience in a rehabilitation or healthcare setting is preferred but not required.
