QUALIFICATIONS YOU MUST HAVE:

• Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM), with experience in the fields of Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, and/or Heat Transfer
• 2 years of engineering experience involving cooling systems – liquid cooling or air cooling
• Experience in solid modeling tools such as Pro/Engineer, Solidworks, AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, or similar tool

QUALIFICATIONS WE PREFER

• Masters Degree in STEM
• Hands-on mechanical aptitude
• Willingness for international travel to Middle East, Asia, and Europe to foreign sites, suppliers, and facilities.
• Experienced in the application of ANSI 14.5M – 1994 (1982), Geometric Dimension & Tolerance.
• Proficiency in Product Data Management (PDM)
• Good presentation and writing skills
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines, non-technical disciplines, and suppliers to resolve technical issues.

The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

RESPONSIBILITIES TO ANTICIPATE:

• Working closely with our customers to establish cooling systems requirements
• Mechanical design, analysis, and documentation of cooling hardware and system
• Selection of components including pumps and heat exchangers
• Drawing generation, drawing release, and drawing change incorporation
• Resolution of change requests from manufacturing or suppliers
• Factory and supplier support of product integration domestically and internationally
• May travel to domestic Raytheon sites, suppliers, and government facilities
