This role is ideal for an early-career accounting professional looking to build a strong foundation in corporate accounting and gain exposure to core financial processes.   Principal Responsibilities: * Assist with day-to-day accounting operations, including transaction processing and data entry * Prepare and post journal entries with appropriate documentation * Support month-end and year-end close processes * Perform account reconciliations, including bank and balance sheet accounts * Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks  * Maintain accurate and organized financial records and supporting schedules * Help prepare basic financial reports and analyses for internal use * Assist with audit requests by gathering documentation and responding to inquiries * Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures * Identify discrepancies and escalate issues to senior accounting staff * Support ad-hoc accounting projects as assigned   Qualifications: * 2-3 years of accounting experience or AA Degree, including internships or entry-level roles * Basic understanding of GAAP and general ledger accounting * Familiarity with financial statements and reconciliations * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (basic formulas and data organization) * Experience or exposure to accounting software or ERP systems preferred * Strong attention to detail and accuracy * Good organizational and time-management skills * Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment * Strong written and verbal communication skills Veros are an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
