About the Opportunity:  The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and supporting the organization’s financial objectives. This role manages accounting staff, coordinates month-end and year-end close processes, and develops internal controls to safeguard company assets. Location: Manchester, CT onsite/hybrid Responsibilities:  * Manage and oversee the daily activities of the accounting team, supporting multi-site teams * Lead the month-end and year-end closing process to ensure timely and accurate reporting * Prepare consolidation of multi-site financial data, ensuring completeness * Resolve intercompany related variances * Maintain compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and applicable regulations * Develop, implement, and monitor accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls * Review journal entries and reconciliations prepared by accounting staff ensuring accuracy and completeness * Support external audits * Support treasury management activities * Mentor, train, and evaluate accounting staff to promote professional development and team performance * Collaborate with cross-functional departments to improve financial processes and reporting accuracy * Promote a culture of integrity, accountability, and sound risk management across the organization. Required Qualifications:  * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field * 5+ years of progressive accounting experience * 2+ years of management or supervisory experience * Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time bases without sponsorship now or in the future.
