Description Position Summary The Materials Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and expediting the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies according to production and shipping schedules. This role supports internal and external customers through efficient handling of inbound and outbound materials. Key Responsibilities • Process all sales order shipments within 24 hours of receipt. • Verify material quantity and description prior to shipment. • Ensure credit card orders are processed before shipping. • Prepare documents and coordinate all international shipments. • Process inbound receipts within 24 hours of delivery. • Notify Purchasing of returns, discrepancies, and credit needs. • Manage Will Call shelf and notify Inside Sales as needed. • Coordinate pickups with couriers including FedEx, UPS, DHL, and freight lines. • Route inbound material appropriately based on type and destination. • Inspect customer returns and determine credit eligibility. • Support after-hours emergency calls as needed. • Operate postage machine and process daily outgoing mail. • Maintain clean and organized warehouse and work areas. • Order shipping and office supplies as needed. • Maintain and operate warehouse equipment in working condition. • Perform routine cycle counts and support annual physical inventory. • Research and resolve inventory discrepancies. • Report inventory issues to management. • Identify and correct unsafe working conditions. • Perform any additional duties as assigned.
