  Summary:  Write, edit, and troubleshoot programs for assigned robotic welding machinery, using computer software for programming and other department support. Ensure weldments meet Rosenboom weld specification S903DZ0001.   Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Write robotic weld programs that meet the quality specifications of customers and Rosenboom while maintaining minimum weld cycle time.  * Inspect, measure, and/or test completed weldments and supporting materials, to ensure conformance to specifications, using measuring and testing devices.  * Recognize, set up, and operate hand and power tools common to the welding trade, such as gas metal arc welding and gas tungsten arc welding equipment. *  Productive member of his/her workgroup and adheres to all Rosenboom polices, including safety requirements/procedures especially working with robotic equipment, to ensure a safe working environment for all Rosenboom employees.  * Work in a production setting to facilitate the needs of Rosenboom’s production goals.  * Maintain preventive maintenance (PM) program for all weld related equipment. ⎯ Maintain a 6S program for equipment and tools in the Weld Support Department. Competencies: * Understands written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents – English. * Assist in training department peers and production operators as needed. * Ability to become familiar with other robot manufacturers and models.  * Ability to travel for training or to assist other facilities. * Use of mathematics to solve problems. * Demonstrate ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems. * Determines the kind of tools and equipment needed to do a job.
