Data Analyst (Power BI & Cloud Analytics)

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to support data-driven decision-making across Corporate & Investment Banking functions.

This role will focus on transforming complex datasets into meaningful business insights through advanced reporting, dashboard development, and analytics solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, and data engineers to design and deliver enterprise-grade reporting solutions, with a particular focus on Power BI and cloud-based analytics environments.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in financial services and a proven track record of building executive dashboards, KPI reporting frameworks, and management information solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI
• Convert business requirements into meaningful visualizations and reporting solutions
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, opportunities, and business insights
• Develop and monitor key business and operational KPIs across Corporate & Investment Banking functions
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and define success metrics
• Build data models and optimize Power BI performance for enterprise-scale reporting
• Support the development of data governance, reporting standards, and data quality initiatives
• Work with cloud-based data platforms and data engineering teams to ensure accurate data availability
• Provide actionable insights to support strategic decision-making and operational performance
• Develop documentation, reporting frameworks, and dashboard best practices

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Data Analytics or Business Intelligence
• Strong hands-on experience with Power BI
• Experience building executive dashboards, KPI scorecards, and data visualization solutions
• Strong SQL and data analysis capabilities
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Knowledge of data modelling and reporting best practices
• Strong stakeholder management and requirement-gathering skills
• Experience working with large and complex datasets
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or a related discipline

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Prior experience within Corporate Banking, Investment Banking, or Financial Services
• Experience with enterprise reporting and management information systems
• Exposure to AWS analytics services such as Redshift, Athena, or QuickSight
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and cloud data architectures
• Power BI certifications preferred
