RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Procurement Leadership

Supplier Relationship Management

- Establish and maintain strong relationships with local and international suppliers.

- Conduct regular supplier performance evaluations and address any issues related to quality, delivery, or service.

- Negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and contracts to meet the company’s goals.

Operational Excellence

- Manage procurement activities, including material and equipment sourcing, subcontractor selection, and tendering processes.

- Ensure timely procurement of materials, equipment, and services to avoid project delays.

- Oversee inventory management and ensure the optimal stock levels are maintained.

Compliance and Risk Management

- Ensure adherence to all applicable regulatory and company procurement policies.

- Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies.

- Monitor contracts to ensure terms are met and compliance standards are upheld.

Team Leadership

- Lead, train, and mentor the procurement team to build a high-performing department.

Reporting and Analysis

- Prepare and present regular reports on procurement activities, supplier performance, and cost savings to senior management.

Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in procurement, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within the contracting or construction industry.

- Strong knowledge of local and international sourcing, procurement practices, and contracting regulations in the UAE.

- Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems.
