Head of Finance EMEA

The Role

As Head of Finance EMEA, you will act as Co-pilot and financial partner for the General Manager EMEA of Sea to Summit. This is a high impact role that combines commercial influence, strategic input and finance ownership within a decentralised organisation where decisions are made close to customers.

Approximately 80% of your focus will be on partnering with the commercial organisation across sales, marketing and category management. You’ll provide insight into performance, margins, pricing strategies, investment decisions and future growth opportunities.

The remaining 20% centres around maintaining financial discipline across the region. Whilst accounting, consolidation and statutory reporting are managed within the global finance structure, you will oversee financial governance locally, coordinate with auditors and ensure the region operates with strong financial rigour.

Reporting directly to the General Manager EMEA, with a functional reporting line into the Global CFO, you will have significant autonomy and visibility across the leadership team.

What we expect your profile to look like:

• 10+ years of finance experience, ideally within a consumer facing environment.
• Strong commercial finance and business partnering capability.
• A solid background in financial controlling, accounting or audit.
• Proven ability to influence senior leaders.
• You will be a self-starter who is comfortable operating independently within a regional or international business.
• Strong collaboration skills are also a must where teamwork is a crucial factor in success
• A growth mindset and genuine interest in scaling a high potential business
• You will have a personal passion for the outdoors, or strong outdoor industry background
• Fluent spoken and written English. German is considered a plus.
