We offer post qualifying support, mentoring and supervision enhanced by a creative training programme (in house and external) to enable practitioners to confidently undertake a range of tasks including complex assessments of need and risk. The Person You will be required to demonstrate knowledge and skills in working within a statutory Adults and Older People setting. You will have a sound understanding of theory, policy and legislation in relation to adults across the lifespan and be confident in the use of these within assessments and reviews. You must be able to work within a multi-disciplinary team and display excellent communications skills, both verbal and written. You must be able to demonstrate an ability to engage with adults and their families and display a clear understanding of their needs. You will hold a Degree in Social Work or equivalent. Before confirming to your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme. You will be required to travel throughout Fife.
