MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or Electronic or Instrument Engineering.
• Must be familiar with Electrical product related industry such as power, oil & gas.
• Familiar with electrical product inspection and testing (LV & MV Switchgear, Electrical & Control Panel, Transformers (Oil & Dry type), Cables and Electrical Accessories ).
• Familiar with IEC or Electrical code & standard.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLS:

• Knowledge & required experience on the following commodities is preferred -
• Integrted PCM (A,B,C,D)
• PCM enclosure for 33KV Switchgear (MV)

Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Manager (Sourcing and Procurement) Supplier Quality Engineer/ Supplier Quality Inspector - Queensland, Australia

RESPONSIBLE FOR SUPPLIER QUALITY ON A WIDE RANGE OF COMMODITIES (EX. LOW VOLTAGE & MEDIUM VOLTAGE SWITCHGEAR, ELECTRICAL & CONTROL PANEL, TRANSFORMERS (OIL & DRY TYPE), CABLES AND ELECTRICAL ACCESSORIES, ETC.) FOR VARIOUS PROJECTS, FROM SUPPLIER AND EVALUATION/NEGOTIATION PHASE TO FINAL INSPECTIONS TO VERIFY COMPLIANCE WITH TECHNICAL AND QUALITY REQUIREMENTS BEFORE SHIPMENT RELEASE.

• Project coordination between Product Quality Management and supplier to ensure all the quality documents is approved in timely manner and complete the final inspection within the timelines
• Conduct Client supplier’s audit and support on technical tender analysis.
• Lead supplier qualification with partnership with procurement, engineering, project quality
• Lead kick-off meetings with suppliers after order placement in cooperation with procurement, engineering, and logistics team.
• Prepare supplier quality documents for project such Quality Control Plan (QCP), EQP(Equipment Quality Plan), ITPL (Inspection Testing Plan) and product testing procedure.
• Perform FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) and PSI (Pre-Shipment Inspection) include other inspection
• Timely completion of the inspection, Inspection report must be submitted within 2 days. And make sure all the punch-list is well capture and agree by the supplier.
• Develop supplier audit plan, conduct audit, help supplier to close finding.
• Handle Non-Conformance Report (NCR) & Root Cause Analysis (RCA) which caused by our supplier and lead resolution of complex, cross-functional for severe NCR/RCA.
• Communicate qualification and production quality requirements to the supplier
• Serve as the key interface with the client supplier
• Communicate qualification acceptance to the client supplier.
• Coordinate process improvements, non-conforming material dispositions, corrective actions, and surveillance auditing
