Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from job requisition to offer and onboarding.
- Understand hiring requirements and prepare accurate job descriptions and job advertisements.
- Source candidates through LinkedIn, job portals, recruitment agencies, referrals, and other channels.
- Screen CVs and shortlist candidates based on qualifications, experience, skills, and salary expectations.
- Conduct initial HR interviews and competency-based assessments.
- Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and senior management.
- Maintain a strong candidate pipeline for current and future vacancies.
- Conduct reference and background checks where required.
- Negotiate salary and employment terms within approved budgets.
- Prepare and issue offer letters and coordinate pre-employment documentation.
- Manpower Planning & Stakeholder Management
- Work closely with department heads to understand current and upcoming manpower requirements.
- Advise management on candidate availability, market salaries, and recruitment timelines.
- Maintain regular communication with hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
- Track open vacancies and provide weekly recruitment updates to management.
- Ensure vacancies are closed within agreed timelines.
Onboarding
- Coordinate with HR and Corporate Services teams for visa, medical, Emirates ID, insurance, and other joining formalities.
- Ensure all new hires submit the required documentation before joining.
- Coordinate joining dates and ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
- Maintain accurate recruitment and employee documentation.
- Recruitment Administration & Reporting
- Maintain an updated recruitment tracker covering vacancies, candidates, interview status, offers, and joining dates.
- Maintain a database of shortlisted and potential candidates.
- Prepare recruitment reports, including time-to-hire, source of hire, vacancies, and recruitment costs.
- Ensure recruitment records are properly maintained and confidential.
- Monitor recruitment agency performance and negotiate recruitment fees where applicable.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of recruitment experience, preferably within the UAE.
- Strong experience in end-to-end recruitment and candidate sourcing.
- Good knowledge of UAE employment and recruitment practices.
- Experience recruiting across multiple functions, including operations, finance, HR, IT, logistics, shipping, and support functions.
- Strong interviewing, screening, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in LinkedIn and major recruitment platforms.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple vacancies simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and meet recruitment deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Job Summary:
Responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process for both staff and labor positions withinthe contracting environment. Ensures timely and accurate fulfillment of manpower requirements across multiple projects and departments by applying structured sourcing, screening, and selection methodologies. The position demands a deep understanding of construction job roles, technical skill sets, and site mobilization logistics. Handle all recruitment activities from reviewing approved MRFs to onboarding coordination, ensuring full compliance with UAE labor law, company policy. Act as a strategic partner to project and HR management, ensuring workforce readiness aligned with operational needs and project timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review manpower requests and approved MRFs (Manpower Requisition Forms) from various departments and project sites, ensuring all details such as job title, required experience, salary range, and joining timeline are verified and approved.
- Prepare and post job advertisements across suitable platforms such as LinkedIn, job portals, company website, and industry-specific channels targeting construction and contracting professionals.
- Source and screen candidates using multiple tools including databases, social media, internal referrals, recruitment agencies, and direct headhunting for niche technical positions.
- Conduct detailed CV screening to verify candidates project experience, technical competencies, employment stability, and relevance to specific site or departmental requirements.
- Coordinate directly with Project Managers, Construction Managers, and HR for clarification on role expectations, required skillsets, and mobilization timelines.
- Shortlist candidates based on technical qualifications, and project-specific experience such as high-rise works.
- Schedule interviews with internal panels or client representatives, ensuring logistical coordination including location, timing, video links, and document readiness.
- Prepare and maintain interview schedules, trackers, and candidate status sheets ensuring real-time visibility for HR and project teams.
- Conduct initial screening calls or technical interviews for specific trades or staff roles to assess communication, technical knowledge, and availability.
- Coordinate post-interview feedback collection from interviewers and communicate results to candidates in a timely and professional manner.
- Draft offer letters, salary proposals, and employment contracts in coordination with HR and management for selected candidates.
- Verify candidate documents including passport, Emirates ID (if local), educational certificates, experience letters, and trade test results prior to final approval.
- Liaise with PRO and HR operations teams to ensure visa processing, medical tests, and onboarding documentation are completed without delay.
- Manage and update the recruitment database, maintaining detailed records of candidate pipelines, interview outcomes, and joining status.
- Prepare weekly and monthly recruitment reports summarizing open positions, filled roles, lead times, and source performance for management review.
- Maintain professional communication with recruitment agencies and manpower suppliers, negotiate terms when needed, and ensure service quality.
- Ensure all recruitment activities are compliant with UAE labor law, MOL regulations, and internal company procedures.
- Support mobilization teams in forecasting expected joining dates, ensuring site manpower deployment aligns with approved schedules.
- Represent the company in job fairs or recruitment drives when required, maintaining a professional brand image within the construction labor market.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline (Master’s degree or HR certification preferred).
- 3 to 5 or more years of experience in recruitment including a minimum 3 of years within UAE-based construction or contracting companies including.
