Answers incoming calls politely and professionally. Registers new patients and updates existing patient demographics. Facilitates patient flow by notifying the Provider of patient's arrival, being aware of delays, and communicating with patients and clinical staff. Responds to patient, prospective patient, and visitor inquiries in a courteous manner; provides medical records, shot records and other documents, as requested. Scans pertinent information into the patient’s electronic medical record. Verifies patient insurance coverage. Collects insurance co-pays and/or collects charges for services.
