You have a proven past of increasing productivity, job completion and profit.
Your challenge is to get the systems, reporting, teams and subcontractors working properly, make the operation more efficient, master the subcontractor model, then hit the grow button.
You’ll work alongside the owner who has become the go-to person for everything, and do whatever it takes to increase productivity of the technicians and overall operations to increase overall production.
You need to be comfortable holding people accountable and getting the team’s respect because of your ability to increase individual productivity, efficiency and making it a great place for performers.
The business is longstanding with a great reputation.
There is no shortage of work.
The problem is getting the work through the operation. Jobs are sitting in the pipeline, but they aren't being completed and invoiced fast enough. The team is too dependent on the owner to solve problems, make decisions and keep things moving.
Part of your role as an Operations Manager is to ensure continuity of operations. This will involve helping installers load a 50 kg door onto a truck, cutting large sections of steel with an industrial cold saw, loading them into a UTE/truck and delivering them to our sites so that our installers can finish their jobs on time.
Aside from ServiceM8 recently implemented, there are no effective KPIs or accountability systems in place. Processes aren't consistently followed. Job instructions aren't standardised. Problems that should be solved by the team are still landing on the owner's desk.
The owner is stuck firefighting and the business is produce much below its potential.
The business desperately needs the right person to run a tight ship, bring organisation and systems to remove stress, inefficiencies and drive productivity.
Your results will be measured by the total value of completed and invoiced jobs per week, and growth of the operations division.
If you’re ready for a challenge, don’t give up even under the toughest demands, and love the satisfaction that comes from productivity turnarounds, apply now for more information.
