SUMMARY We are looking for a NP/ PA to diagnose and treat health conditions, as well as promote good health practices. As an advanced practice NP/ PA, you’ll be our go-to person for ensuring the best patient care possible. The job description of a NP/ PA includes conducting physical examinations, interpreting lab tests and overseeing patients’ health. You’ll be both a health practitioner and an educator, supporting disease prevention practices and helping people lead healthy lives. You should have experience in one of the following NP/ PA specialties: acute care, urgent care, neonatal care, pediatrics, cardiology, family health, or orthopedics. Extensive clinical experience on primary care is vital. As a NP/ PA, you’ll have to work closely with other healthcare professionals, so you should have a team spirit and a positive attitude. Patience, problem-solving skills and communication ability are important. REQUIREMENTS RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:   * Examine patients and their medical records * Order and study diagnostic tests (blood tests, X-rays etc.) * Diagnose health conditions and illnesses * Propose treatments for chronic and infectious diseases * Prescribe medications * Maintain accurate records and schedules * Inform patients about their health conditions and prescribed medications * Educate patients and their family members on diseases, epidemics and prevention * Oversee patients’ overall health * Promote good health practices * Advance professional knowledge and conduct research EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: * Valid nurse practitioner license  * Master’s degree or PhD considered a plus SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS: * Proven experience as NP/PA in a hospital or ER setting * Expertise in primary care, acute care, chronic care, or orthopedic practices             Knowledge of health and patient care regulations * Excellent communication skills * Strong ethics * Team spirit with a positive attitude * Patient and calm demeanor * Work independently * Willingness to continue gaining knowledge and clinical experience PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: * BODY POSITIONS: SITTING AND STANDING FOR PROLONGED PERIODS. * BODY MOVEMENTS: ARM AND HAND DEXTERITY. * BODY SENSES: MUST HAVE COMMAND OF CLOSE AND DISTANT SIGHT, COLOR PERCEPTION AND HEARING. * STRENGTH: ABILITY TO LIFT AND MOVE UP TO 25-POUNDS.   Working Environment: 1. Work in an office, where the climate is controlled  2. Occasional travel between medical groups and/or hospitals when necessary. 0-25 % of the time.  OSHA exposure category: I 1. Category II – Position includes tasks that do not have exposure to Bloodborne Pathogens, however employment may require unplanned Category I tasks. 3.
