QUALIFICATIONS

• A diploma from a recognized Geomatics program considered an asset.
• Possess a valid Class 5 driver’s license.
• Experience with the operation of total stations, levels and GPS technology.
• Experience with flying drones.
• Assist in the preparation of reports and documentation related to survey findings.
• Strong mathematical and computer operating skills.
• Foundational knowledge of CAD standards and familiarity with Trimble survey equipment.
• Strong skills in data collection techniques and data management practices.
• Ability to work independently in the field as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills for interpreting survey data.
  Travel out of town, working overtime and weekends may be required. Must be willing to work in all types of weather conditions.

• Must be willing to work in remote locations.
• Prepare field notes and sketches in the field with QA/QC and data uploading each evening.
• Being able to adapt to the technical challenges of processing data and learning new surveying technology.
• Organize and maintain all equipment.
• Follow safety procedures set out by Westcore Contracting Inc.
• Will satisfy drug and alcohol screening requirements.
