QUALIFICATIONS

• 10+ years in IT, with 3+ years focused on cloud migration.
• Demonstrated experience planning and executing migrations from on-premises environments into Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure required, AWS & GCP a plus) and security tools (e.g., Okta, Zscaler, Palo Alto).
• Working knowledge of infrastructure automation technologies (Terraform, PowerShell, etc,) and CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab pipelines, etc.).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to quickly learn new concepts and technologies

ABOUT THE ROLE

• Easy Dynamics is seeking a Cloud Security subject matter expert (SME) with deep understanding and experience architecting, implementing, and automating enterprise cloud solutions. The SME should be an expert in migrating and modernizing highly secure enterprise applications. The candidate will be the technical lead on an Agile team and will be part of an enterprise wide federal ICAM program.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Architectural Design:

• Develop and maintain a Zero Trust security architecture covering identity, device, application, and network layers.

• Propose approaches which modernize traditional on-premises architectures to leverage cloud-native PaaS technologies.
• Develop secure, performant and highly available architectures leveraging cloud-native (PaaS) technologies where practical.
• Prepare technical diagrams which clearly communicate complex technical concepts and are visually appealing to client stakeholders.
• Implementation & Integration:

• Collaborate with IT, DevOps, and compliance teams to deploy Zero Trust strategies in cloud platforms, including Microsoft Azure and Entra ID.

• Provide technical requirements to DevOps team to prepare automated deployment of secure Azure infrastructure using a CI/CD pipeline.
• QA infrastructure deployed by DevOps team to ensure alignment of Azure Infrastructure with NIST 800-53 High standards following CI/CD deployment.
• Security Controls:

• Apply security controls such as micro-segmentation, identity and access controls and network access controls to secure cloud systems.

• Conduct risk assessments, threat modeling, and architecture reviews.
• Documentation & Compliance:

• Document security architectures, policies, and implementation roadmaps.

• Ensure compliance with standards like NIST SP 800-53, NIST SP 800-63 and relevant executive orders and memoranda related to information security.
• Prepare technical and operational documentation which aligns with organizational documentation standards.
• Cloud Migration

• Evaluate system interdependencies to plan migration sequencing and coexistence.

• Develop detailed migration execution and rollback plans.
• Plan, execute and support migration of workloads from on-premises to Microsoft Azure.
• Develop standard operating procedures for administration and support of cloud systems.
• Approach all tasks with a DevSecOps mindset, strive to automate and innovate when possible
• Collaborate with software developers and business analysts to architect and organize systems and applications
