Infosys is seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer - In this role you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing an organization’s cloud computing strategy. Candidate should have ability to develop cloud adoption plans, overseeing cloud migration, and creating systems for managing, monitoring, and maintaining the cloud system. Additionally, translate business needs into robust, scalable cloud solutions while ensuring security, scalability, and compliance.
This position is based out of Denver,CO Saint louis, MO, Charlotte ,NC. Candidate can work from anywhere in the USA and or Remote during MST or CST or EST time zone. This position may require travel to project locations.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of experience with Information Technology.
• Experience in Azure Databricks, AWS, and Snowflake.
• Experience in Cloud technologies, Data Warehousing, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence.
• Knowledge of enterprise cloud solutions, deploying and running solutions in a cloud environment, and private, public, and hybrid clouds.
• Extensive experience with Internet technologies and protocols like TCP/IP, VPN, SSL and HTTP
• Hands-on experience with public and private cloud services (AWS, Openstack, VMWare, ect) as well as load balancers and networking devices.
• Experience designing high availability and disaster recovery / fail-over infrastructures.
• Development experience with database or application integration technology
• Deep knowledge of Linux fundamentals.
• Knowledge of Open-Source architectures and/or past contributions to open-source projects.
• Design, development and operations experience with highly available, scalable, and fault tolerant systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with agile/scrum methodologies.
• Professional Cloud Solutions Architect (PCSA) Certification.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to provide effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Experience with agile/scrum methodologies.

• Produce architecture blueprints that guide the development and implementation of Cloud solutions across multiple products, providing direction to •Technical teams during project delivery and ensuring implementations support technology and product roadmaps.

• Provides their expertise in the development and maintenance of architecture standards and solutions that align with strategic goals and partner with product managers, business analysts, designers, and software engineers to navigate solution decisions.
• Analyze and communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions.
• Identify ongoing risks and pain points throughout the project, develop and implement mitigation measures.
• Improve internal processes, and promote knowledge sharing in the team, by contributing to the knowledge base, blogs, and brown bag lunches.
• Capture project lessons and convert them into architectural best practices applicable to the broader install base, mentor and coach the internal team through internal training sessions.
• Work closely with Product Management and Engineering to review customer requirements and feedback and identify opportunities for platform enhancements.
• Continuously learn and manage time effectively to meet project deadlines.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
