QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of construction experience, with at least 1–2 years in a lead carpenter or assistant superintendent role preferred.
• Strong blueprint reading and interpretation skills.
• Familiarity with framing, structural requirements, and truss setting.
• Ability to manage tasks independently and lead by example.
• Ability to perform some level of physical work including tool usage, material handling or lifting.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in daily site supervision of residential and commercial construction projects.
• Interpret and work from construction blueprints and structural drawings/details.
• Understand and manage work sequencing from site preparation through punchout.
• Lead framing and carpentry tasks as needed, including truss setting and layout.
• Coordinate with trades to ensure timelines and quality standards are met.
• Monitor and enforce jobsite safety, cleanliness, and organization.
• Assist with material procurement and equipment rental for jobsites.
• Support the Project Manager in scheduling, inspections, and daily reporting.
• Communicate clearly with subcontractors, vendors, and team members.
• Ensure quality standards for work put in place.
