ABOUT US:

We are a small family run construction company specializing in new residential construction, residential renovations and light commercial projects. We take pride in delivering quality craftsmanship and smooth, well-managed projects for our clients. We’re looking for a Carpenter / On-Site Project Manager who thrives in a hands-on role, leading by example while working on the tools the majority of the time.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The ideal candidate will act as both an experienced carpenter and the on-site supervisor. This person must have a wide range of skills across all phases of construction and renovation — from framing and drywall to finish carpentry and everything in between. Alongside their own work, they will oversee job sites, coordinate trades, and ensure projects are completed on schedule and to a high standard.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5+ years of carpentry and renovation experience.
• Broad skill set across multiple trades (framing, drywall, flooring, cabinetry, finishing, etc.).
• Prior experience leading or supervising crews is a strong asset.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license (Drivers abstract required.)

• Perform a wide variety of carpentry and renovation tasks, including: framing, drywall installation/repair, flooring, millwork, trim, and finish carpentry.
• Lead on-site activities, supervising trades and ensuring quality workmanship.
• Manage day-to-day project progress, safety, and cleanliness of the site.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Communicate with clients and project managers to keep projects on track.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
