About the Role We’re seeking a passionate and skilled Workday Finance Analyst/Consultant to join our Enterprise Product Management team on an 18-month maternity leave contract. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in configuring and supporting the Workday Finance module, and who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. You’ll work closely with the internal Workday Team to deliver fixes and improvements that align with strategic priorities and support the ongoing evolution of our recently implemented Workday platform. Ideally, you will be able to commence this year (before our December closure) and the role can be based out of any major Australian city. The Service Line (About) Our Workday Support Team was established to drive the success of our Workday HCM and Financials implementation. We oversee project prioritisation, cross-functional decision-making, data standardisation, issue resolution, release management, and provide strategic direction for ongoing support and optimisation. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Configure and support the optimisation of key Workday Finance modules including Financial Accounting, Expenses, Suppliers, Projects. Skilled in reporting and analytics using Workday tools (Report Writer, Calculated Fields) Provide Workday system support via the ticketing system, including ticket prioritisation, resolution development, testing and communication back to end users. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to gather business requirements, troubleshoot issues, develop functional specifications for system fixes and enhancements and implement solutions. Participate in continued Workday feature release updates, assessing impacts to the business and executing system testing. Develop and maintain clear system documentation, including process flows and configuration guides. Skills/Attributes Required: Proven experience in Workday Finance configuration and support. 2+ years of experience in a commercial finance environment. Degree in accounting or related field. Strong understanding of finance systems and processes. Workday Finance certifications (highly regarded). Collaborative team player with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
