POSITION OVERVIEW
The Christmas Tree Council of Nova Scotia (CTCNS) is seeking a dynamic and self-motivated individual to serve as its part-time Executive Director. This year-round leadership role is responsible for the administration, coordination, and advancement of Council activities, providing strategic and operational oversight across financial management, stakeholder engagement, regulatory affairs, and industry promotion.
Reporting to the Board of Directors through the President, the Executive Director works closely with Council members, government partners, and industry stakeholders to strengthen Nova Scotia’s vibrant and globally recognized Christmas tree and greenery sector.

Manage the collection, compliance, and enforcement of the Christmas Tree Levy under applicable legislation.

Coordinate and supervise contractors, consultants, and other staff supporting CTCNS initiatives.

Knowledge of the Christmas tree industry is an asset; facilitation and consensus-building skills are essential.
Must possess a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel throughout Nova Scotia.
