About us

Perfect Concrete Care is a specialist concrete services contractor operating across NSW. We deliver concrete cutting, core drilling, structural demolition and modification, concrete repairs, grinding and sealing, and concrete scanning. Our work sits on commercial, industrial, remedial and infrastructure projects, often on complex or high risk scopes where the builder needs someone who can take ownership and get it done properly.

We are growing and the workload is outpacing the team. This role is being created to add real engineering capability alongside our Business & Operations Manager and Senior Estimator.

The role

You will be the technical engineer across our project pipeline. Day to day you will be reading plans, walking sites, working out how a job gets built, and helping convert enquiries into won and delivered work.

Responsibilities:

• Site visits and site inspections across Sydney metro and regional NSW
• Reading and interpreting structural and civil drawings, specifications and tender documents
• Reviewing tenders and identifying scope, risk, access constraints and programme impacts
• Supporting quoting and preparing methodologies and work sequences
• Liaising with clients, engineers, site managers and project managers
• Coordinating with our operations team on mobilisation, resourcing and delivery
• Over time, taking ownership of specific work streams such as slab modification and post tensioned truncation works

What we are looking for

• Degree in civil or structural engineering
• Ability to read and understand structural drawings quickly and without hand holding
• Practical mindset. You are comfortable on a live site, not just behind a desk
• Fast paced and decisive. You can make a call, take responsibility for it and keep the job moving
• Strong written and verbal English and confident dealing with clients
• Current Australian driver licence
• White Card, or willing to obtain before starting

Advantageous

• Australian construction industry experience
• Working knowledge of concrete, reinforcement, post tensioning, remedial repair products and patching systems
• Exposure to concrete cutting, drilling, demolition or remediation contracting
• Experience with tendering or estimating in a subcontracting environment
• Second language

• $100,000 to $120,000 + super depending on experience

Pay: $100,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year
