Southern Engineering is seeking a CNC Laser Cutting Machine Operator to join our team at our Keswick workshop.
Southern Engineering is a parts manufacturing company that supplies laser cut and folded parts to a broad range of manufacturing companies.

Reporting to the Production Co-Ordinator, the role will be responsible for:

• Running our CNC laser cutting machine from plans provided.
• Running our sheet metal CNC brake press machine when required.
• Loading material and Unloading parts.
• Sorting and checking off parts.
• Parts cleanup and Sanding.
• Controlling sheet metal stock and consumables.
• Loading and unloading of trucks.
• General maintenance of the machines.
• Maintaining a safe and clean working environment.

To be considered for this position you will need to possess the following Pre-requisites:

• Current driver’s license.
• Forklift license.
• Sheet metal experience is an advantage.
