Project assignments may include, although not limited to: Transit and Municipal, Commercial, and Institutional projects, Justice, Education and Government. Major Responsibilities The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, those listed below: Conduct structural drafting / 3D BIM for concrete, steel, and wood buildings Prepares finished design drawings from sketches, notes, and details Support structural analysis of buildings and structures with little guidance Supporting the preparation of the specifications and maintaining project documentation including quality review documentation. Supporting packages preparation and submission Monitors and documents conformance with quality, performance, safety and code requirements. General understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines. Works in engineering project collaboration software platforms (i.e., ProjectWise, BIM360, Autodesk Construction Cloud) Self-checks drawings for quality assurance Support with field inspection and construction administration Works in team-based environment that involves coordination with colleagues in different disciplines based in different offices Performs the responsibilities under limited supervision Work both in office and field settings Qualifications Minimum Requirements: College diploma in Engineering Technology + 4 (two) years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education Proficient in 3D Revit/BIM drafting Demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education may be considered. Holding or the ability to obtain Secret Level security clearance Preferred Qualifications EIT, C.
