As a Senior Software Engineer focusing on IoT, you will play a key role in developing next-generation software for Software Defined Vehicles (SDVs). You will design, implement, and maintain scalable, high-performance distributed systems that power electric vehicle architectures, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, low-latency solutions. This position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies, including event-driven systems, cloud-native applications, and real-time data streaming. The role also involves participating in on-call rotations to maintain system uptime and address critical production issues. Accountabilities: Design, develop, deploy, and maintain distributed systems for IoT and SDV architectures. Build efficient, fault-tolerant systems using event-driven architectures and technologies such as Kafka and Redis. Write high-quality, maintainable code in Go (GoLang) with robust test coverage. Deploy and manage cloud-based applications, particularly on AWS, ensuring scalability and high availability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate system requirements into reliable technical solutions. Monitor, debug, and optimize applications, proactively addressing performance and latency issues. Maintain comprehensive documentation for systems, processes, and tools. Participate in on-call rotations, including weekends, holidays, and off-hours, to resolve critical production issues. Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s or PhD preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience in software engineering with a focus on distributed systems. Proficiency in Go (GoLang) programming and experience developing production-grade applications. Strong foundation in distributed systems, event-driven architecture, and message brokers such as Kafka. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and cloud-native design patterns.
