ABOUT THE ROLE

Vision for Education is seeking a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to join a welcoming and forward-thinking mainstream secondary school in Kendal from October 2025. This is a full-time position, initially covering until the end of the autumn term, with a strong likelihood of extension into the new year or becoming permanent.
The successful candidate will be expected to teach Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 Maths, delivering engaging lessons that inspire and challenge students across a range of abilities. This role is suitable for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs).

THE ROLE

• Plan and deliver high-quality Maths lessons in line with the school curriculum.
• Assess, monitor, and support student progress.
• Maintain a positive classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Collaborate with the Maths department to contribute to curriculum development.
• Engage in whole-school initiatives and support wider school life.
