Packline Materials Handling is a specialist lifting and handing solutions equipment manufacturer based in Poole, Dorset.
We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join us to support our stores and manufacturing departments.
The right candidate will have a common goal of delivering a high-quality product, therefore good attention to detail and an eye for quality is required.
Due to company vehicle insurance, applicants must be over the age of 25 years.
Hourly rate – Dependent upon experience
Permanent, full-time position, subject to a probationary period.
Mon – Thurs: 7.30am – 4.30pm Fri: 7.30am – 1.30pm (Overtime available)
5 weeks annual holiday.

SUMMARY

• Production support, as and when required, assisting the assembly and machining teams as well as general warehouse support.
• Goods in: daily receipting and inspection of all material purchases ensuring that production demand is covered by timely supply
• Goods out: preparation of goods for shipment, including kitting and packing, arrange collections and ensure all necessary paperwork is attached.
• Kitting and preforming of material to defined schedules to ensure on time material supply to the production facility
• Stock checks
• Optimise space utilisation to improve workflow
• Act as company driver, collecting/delivering goods to subcontractors
• Arranging shipping of orders
• Ensuring quality, environmental and health and safety requirements of the company are fully complied with
• Maintaining demonstration machines: charging, testing and packing
• Assist and support assembly and machining workshops

EXPERIENCE

• Stores/warehouse: 2 years (preferable)
• Working within a manufacturing environment
• Ability and hands on experience
• Efficient in planning and prioritising workloads

• Full UK driving license held for 2 years (Essential)
• Working knowledge of MRP Systems (Desirable)
• Forklift Training (Desirable)

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are looking for a hardworking, motivated individual to join the team at Packline Ltd.
We are looking for a highly organised individual with a good attention to detail, willingness to collaborate and a good use of common sense to achieve goals.
As part of the production team, you will be responsible for managing the stores department as well as offering general production support, as required, in assembly and machining areas.
Stores and warehouse experience is required, although full training will be provided.
