Job title: Charles River QA Tester
We are looking for a skilled Charles River QA Tester for a future role to develop, execute, and maintain test cases for the Charles River Investment Management Solution (IMS) platform and its core modules, including Order Management System (OMS), Trading, Risk & Compliance, and Performance & Attribution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for Charles River IMS, including Charles River OMS, Trading, Risk & Compliance, Performance & Attribution, Reporting Engine, Charles River Cloud-based deployments.
• Manage test case documentation using TestRail and log defects in Bugzilla or other issue-tracking systems.
• Validate enhancements, patches, and releases across UAT, SIT, and production environments.
• Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and project managers to ensure test coverage aligns with business requirements.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end tests on Charles River applications and workflows.
• Participated in automated test execution and continuous integration pipelines using Bamboo, TeamCity, CircleCI, and Travis CI.
• Perform performance and basic security testing using tools like OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite, and Acunetix as needed.
• Conduct smoke testing and validation post-deployment for Charles River Cloud upgrades.
• Analyze test results, create detailed defect reports, and track issues to resolution.
• Support QA best practices, including test automation strategies and quality metrics reporting.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, Information Systems, or related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in QA testing with Charles River IMS or similar investment management platforms.
• Strong understanding of front-to-back investment workflows, particularly OMS, Trading, and Compliance.
• Hands-on experience with TestRail, Bugzilla, or similar QA/test case management tools.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and automated testing processes using tools like Bamboo, TeamCity, CircleCI, or Travis CI.
• Experience testing within Charles River Cloud environments.
• Knowledge of financial instruments, trade lifecycle, and compliance rule testing.
• Ability to write and maintain SQL queries for data validation during testing.
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
• Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress).
• Security testing knowledge using OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite, Acunetix, or equivalent.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA or Confluence.
• Knowledge of Charles River’s Reporting Engine and testing custom or regulatory reports.
• ISTQB or equivalent QA certification.
